I’ve been grateful for the ongoing work the PDA Therapy Collaborative is doing together, as we continue to create our own consultation space, and support the work we are doing to create PDA best practice approaches. I will be presenting in May with Melinda to the Maine, NASW. Megan Agee will be presenting at the Renfrew Center’s annual conference and Jenna Cacciola will be doing an upcoming Q and A for PDA North America. Congratulations to them both!

Lifting our collective professional voices and elevating the work of PDA affirming best practice is part of our passion and we continue to view the PDA Therapy Collaborative as a space to nurture this in an evolving ongoing way.

I especially appreciate the commitment that Melinda Stewart, LICSW, has made to create collegial space for us to gather this Spring. She is an experienced teacher of Social Work practice, has held positions with The Stone Center at Wellesley College and McLean Hospital, and for 15 years developed an expertise in PDA and the gifted.

This Monday Melinda will host our coffee and connection with Bryenne Alesch, M.Ed, from Elite Cognition out of Madison Wisconsin. I’m still taking some much-needed rest enjoying time with my 17-year-old, spending time with out-of-town family and friends, and will be co-hosting again on May 5th for our clinical conversation on PDA and the gifted.
